I went bowling last weekend, and I actually had to duck under the tv screen each time I had my turn!! That's a new one for sure, too tall for bowling!!
My friend Cara who I played basketball with at University of Ottawa now lives in Korea!! We met up a couple weeks ago for dinner. She is here with her fiance teaching English. It was great to see her and get caught up!
After a two day stop over in Vancouver visiting my Aunt, my parents arrived here in Seoul, South Korea!! They arrived rested, well fed, and very happy after being moved up to first class for their flight!
My mom brought with her the PERFECT gift for me to share with my co-workers!! I had already told my American friends at work that there is a company back in Canada called Christie. The fact that my mom managed to find cookies both maple leaf shaped AND with my name on each cookie was in fact PERFECT!!!! I laughed for hours!!
On Sunday morning my parents came with me to church. This massive building holds many services in many different languages. They really enjoyed the English service, which is quite similar to the service at my church back home. (minus Pastor Karl and my Living Hope family of course!).
