Korean Baseball - Opening Game! Dust storm and Superbowl MVP!

Last Saturday we went to opening game for the 2006 baseball season here in Korea. The game started out with Superbowl MVP Hines Ward throwing out the first pitch. His mother is South Korean, and this was his first visit to South Korea. I have never been to a sporting event with such enthusiastic fans! Koreans love their baseball. Mr. Moon from school took us to the game. The lack of clarity in my pictures was due to a dust storm that completely filled the city that Saturday. It was almost like a large fire was burning somewhere in the city. They call it yellow dust that blows over from China. You couldn't even see the tall buildings that surrounded the stadium. This is why a lot of people here wear masks during the month of April. As if being a 6'2" blonde isn't enough being in an Asian country, now I'm considering wearing a mask!
